QUENT
The health watch for good times ahead
The increase in incidents of aging-related illnesses and frequent hospitalization has greatly emphasized the need for a personalized care system that can be effortlessly integrated into a senior’s daily life.
Quent allows independent and dependent seniors to use mobile and wearable medical technology to gather patient-generated health data (PGHD) and send specific information to family members, guardians, designated call centers and or emergency medical services (EMS) at the right time.
Thus far, most research efforts have been focused on the adaptation of miniaturized wearable designs based on technologies such as motion tracking, bio-electrical signals analysis and temperature detection. With advancements in artificial intelligence, it is now possible to predict events before the onset with continuous monitoring. Moreover, blood is by far the most understood sample for diagnostic measurements; other biological fluids, such as sweat, saliva, tears and breath, are more readily accessible and, thus, are attractive targets for non- or minimally invasive wearable sensor platforms.
We have created a non-invasive, health monitoring device with the following components
- Bio-medical sensors integrated into a Smart Watch with behind-the-scenes, seamless computing capability
- Robust Data repository with benefits of cloud-scale with assurance of data security
- Mobile/Web App for viewing of personal health information by the Wearer and or key contacts
- Accurately tracks: heart rate, SPo2, blood pressure, ECG, body temperature, falls, steps, sleep patterns, stores and tracks medicines, stores critical healthcare diagnoses and allergies
